look up the ECU wires, starter, fuel pump etc...pick one

because anyone wanting to take a 240 can easily find this info just as fast/easy as you did. I would start going over the wiring diagram yourself and make a kill switch that only you alone know about to make it that much more difficult for anyone trying to jack it.

 

I usually go for a fuel pump kill switch. But that's just me. There's a lot of different things you can do, so it's all about what you want to do.

Search, there are posts about this, and places to hide it, under the shift boot comes to mind.

Like said above, use the wiring diagram, and be creative (dont post and tell us where and how). Ive heard of people putting them in the fender wells and such.

 

i guess my question is where should i cut the wire i have looked into it and know fuel pump is grey with purple stripe. where is this coil pack you speak of.

 

Well whats your reasoning behind putting a kill switch? If its just to cut the fuel to the motor run it off the fuel pump. If its to cut power to kill the motor run it off the coil pack like fonix36 said... never understood putting a killswitch unless its a all out drag car running alcohol or you have a secondary fuel pump.

There are several reasons and types of kill switches.

If this is for security purposes, there are threads about it, and where and what wires to cut to kill the ignition circuit. Search holmes.

You dont have a coil pack btw....if it is a KA you have A coil, if its a SR you have COP.

the coil pack on a single cam is located on the drivers side its connected to the distributor, if you dont know where it is i dont think you should be messing with your ignition system

 

Well i searched Holmes and all i get is post saying, "Alright holmes." "Peace Holmes". So i tried to narrow it down with holmes witch and nothing can you please be more specific and yes i have a sr.
