Lining up fenders, bumper and hood, help?

Anyone know how hard it is to align up the front end of these S13's? Mine was in a small accident some time before I bought it, and it looks like the guy just put all mismatched junkyard parts for the hood, bumper, and fenders. I need to realign them. Mainly, how hard is it to realign the fenders? Hood I can get, bumper, ok. But never messed with the fenders, do they just come off with screws? I dont want to tear it all off and be in WAY over my head, ya know?

in order to align it all, you'll want to take off the front bumper and possibly the fenders (depending if your doors are correctly aligned as well. it only takes time.

why take them off?

loosen the top, front and side bolts on the fenders, hood and front bar, get the hood as square as you can then shunt the fenders and front bar around until the gaps are minimised. Problem is if your mountings are a bit bent from the accident you may need to bend them out again.

There are fender bolts on the top rails, in front of the doors and in the inside front of the wheel wells (use a long extension for these).

stinky is right - can take ages to do and is one of the costs people dont take into account when they get a shop to fit a bodykit up.

I agree with it just taking time. I just re-aligned my frontend about two weeks ago. Spent about an hour and a half out there until I got it just right or as right as it will be until it hits the body shop. Like they said, loosen the hood hinges, fender bolts and slide them as you need and constantly check your progress until you get it right!:thumbsup You may need to adjust the rubber bumpstops on the hood or if yours are torn up and old like mine were, get new ones or use washers and bolts until you can.
