thanks man. its only about $10-$15 worth of materials.
fiberglass resin
fiberglass cloth
sandpaper
primer
paint

I still have to do some finishing touches, final sand, primer, paint, and drill some holes.

I hope to be done today. This is only my 2nd fiberglass project and im pretty damn happy with the results so far. I just hope the flat black/clear coat looks okay

Cool dude. I wish I had the time to learn how to build stuff like that.:p

BTW... This should probably be in the S13 section rather than Off Topic. I'll get someone to move it for ya.;)

Very nice! I think that it looks a lil glossy too. Have u put it on yet? If not slap primer over it again and go get a flat black.

I say it again...."Very Nice!"

Good idea,
I'd lay off the clear coat there buddy. I mean I did it on my center and i honestly don't like it anymore. The shine makes it looks nasty unless the paint is perfect. I even wet sanded up to 600 then rubbing compound. still didn't make it look too good. I recommend just going with flat paint. Clear coats will attract lots of dust ;0

i think the flash made it look way more bling bling than it actually is. I hooked up a wiring harness to it, so it not a pain to remove it if i have to. went over it with some fine steel wool and it looks better now. its in the car too. i'll get pics later

just a tip, you should have wet sand up to 2000 to make it look awesome.

Boosted F22 - if it is still too glossy, spray it with a matt clear coat.

I lightly scrubbed the surface with steel wool and it toned it down a lot, the flash of the camera made it look super-glossy. its really not THAT glossy ;)

I covered up the AC vents with bubble wrap and zip-ties. Kinda lame, but it works fine. I got the gauges hooked up. im so pissed that one is a Phantom series and the other is ultra-lite

Here's a pic of the wiring harness i made for it. Its very easy to take in-and out, besides the fact that you have to drop the steering column

I got the wires from a JDM h22 harness that i didnt need. Id take some in-car pics but its raining like a muthabish right now.

before you put the two gauges, you had a square hole there correct? How did you cover them? What did you use to make the new holes for the two new gauges?
I used fiberglass. it wasnt that hard, but it took about 8 hours in all plus drying time for resin, primer, and paint

here are some pics in the car. it was dark outside

there are no sensors required. i put it in there just for the hell of it. i am getting an SR.

i dont mean any offense but the fact that you have an SR coming, and you have an SAFC but you have no idea what it does is kinda messed up dood

I installed it in about 30 minutes and it didnt cost anything
