Cardinal is probably going to be the best bet. I've used them quite a bit and seen a lot of their stuff. It is always clean and does great.

For me Nadauto is too expensive. I talked to them a few times, but I never bought anything.

I have a redtop front clip that I just purchased from Cardinal Performance last month if you are interested. I want $2500 for it (paid $2800).

If you don't want mine then Cardinal is who I would recommend. They are a little bit higher than other clips but you know you will get a good, running motor with everything you need to make it a hassle-free swap.

The only issue I had with my clip was that the hard cast aluminum piping on the stock side mount was cracked. Chip had another one to me for free with a day or two.

Best Japanese Engines is a cheap and reliable company. i bought my old Mazda turbo motor from them and so did some of my friends.

JHOT is also a great company to deal with.

got mine rb20det clip from jarco no problems i highly recommend them my friend who referred me to them bought an sr they said it was makin some noise it might be the trubo if it was they would give him new one. they guys at jarco are really cool i go by constantly check out the new stuff i bought most of my after market stuff from jarco no problems if i have any questions they will answer them to the best of their knowledge. let me wonder around the shop and look at everything they have. show me all the new stuff they have. really nice place to shop. also on my friends sr they had one left for a waiting list of people and it had 100,000 some odd miles on the sr and told him it was a high mileage engine and the oil pan go dented on the ship, so the discounted his engine for the cost to get new parts and for the mileage. name a company that will do that and tell you about it and show you the defects before you buy it, they have a startup warrentee they actually told me they could get the fuel canister and start my engine up right then and there if i wanted. sent me videos of it running while it was in japan along with the other engines that they were bringing back so i could choose the one i wanted. they dont have them on the site so it doesnt take up bandwith from people trying to download them, just email them and they will send you links.

ok i officially got the last cardinal performance front cut, baring a change in world economics there will be no more. chip is selling ready made, 600hp capable long blocks. i dont know what the prices will be but i've seen the bits for the first motor and they are the best.

edit: i will more than likely be buying my next motor from nadauto. i have bought parts from them in the past and was more than pleased with what i got.

So no more clips from Chip? He have any goodie parts laying around? Like 180sx kouki bumpers/aero or mods? I sure wouldn't mind a nismo suede steering wheel.

let me put it to you like this, i got everything that wasnt tied down. a pair of silvia conversions, the last cut, xmembers, brakes, ps pressure hose, seriously if it wasnt tied down it went into my van or on the trailer. he does have some 180sx center sections and a few bad redtops.
