Thats right.. I just bought a 97 240sx le. So far I love it. I still miss my z32 but repairs among other things forced me to sell my love. So I bought a s14. Its a color that I dont like very much. But I am just anouncing myself and posting a picture of my new car and my mothers z32.

I love that color what don't you like about it? Is it a 5 speed or auto? How much did you pick it up for and mileage come on man fill us in. I see your moms car is a NA but still cool was yours a na z32 also? That would be so cool to have a mom that had a z32.

My z32 was an n/a also. But still a wonderful car to drive. I really wanted a 5speed but I couldnt find a 97-98 with one for the right price. I could hardly find any at all. A couple of other people thought it was the base model also but it's not. Right now it has about 132k on it. I picked it up for about 4000.

The color is called deep fucsia(sp?) but I just call it purple. I going to try to get some better pics soon. Anymore question and/or comments are very welcome. I will try to get back to them asap.

How is it not a base model, but has 4-lug hubs?

I dont know where those rims came from. I had never seen them on a 240 anywhere. The whole time I was looking to buy one. If by hubs you meant caps. Those rims are alloys.

The rims you have come off the base model.....you just have the base model with most of the option. Either way that is a good find.

once again, where do people get the idea that LE=base model?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
it's obviously not an Le, if it were it would have 5-lug, side skirts, spoiler, and leather....

What a coincident. I used to have a Z32 1990 5 speed NA and switched to a 98 SE 5 spd.

You are right, the Z32 cost a lot of money on maintance. I rebuild my drive shaft due to the vibration (pretty bad) for 4 times and it still go bad after a few months. So, I just got rid of the Z recently. ;(

Was thinking on the new Z but I ended up getting my 98 5 spd instead for $6500.

Both of my nissan are equipped with stock rim, shocks and suspension ( I am looking for a nice rim for my SE right now). I think the SE is much easier car to drift compare to the Z. It goes pretty wild and scary if you get a fish tail with the Z.

LE is stand for leather edition, which comes with leather seat. It is top of the line.

The other different for SE is that it comes with fog light and white odometer reading.

Oh, my 98 doesn't come with ABS nor LSD. Would you guys recommand to come with the ABS???

Alright, First off in this post.....I need to know what a kouki is. Im new to these boards and dont really know what that means.

Anywaym, The lady that sold it to me told me it was an LE model. I didnt know the models or the options or anything. I miss my z32. That car was so much funner to drive then the 240. Dont get me wrong I still love driving the 240 but I like the z more.

Well Im headed to be, its been a long day and night.

A kouki is a 97/98 model 240sx and a zenki is a 95/96 model. Z cars are fun to drive I drive my friends on occasion his is a 91 300zx tt with 406ft.lb of torque and 367 h.p. dyno'd at the rear wheels. It looses traction really easy though even in a straight line.
