you call bs lol.... i have live here for 16 years leagely you can race here in kent washington.there are only a limeted time dering the day and only on weekends and its the times when everything is closed down on these streets so chill out man iv done my hw on just bout everything ok

Sure lets go street racing, impress some young stupid kids, get caught by the cops, car gets impounded , car has illegal mods, car gets crushed, or worse you hit little jimmie driving home from work, get convicted for wreckless manslaugter you go to jail and I got to live with freakin irritated cops who won't leave me alone because my car isn't smog legal. So now I have to trailer my car to the track or remove my 497rwhp ls1 motor and put back the 155hp ka motor, all because we wanted to go street racing.

Cops blocking off streets, yeah its called a drag strip,

haha your fucking funny and if you were reading in the begining im bad at spelling you got a problem with if go fuck youself got it. but thanks to all you guys that arnt jackasses and do help people not tell people there wrong when they have lived someware for 16 years

i never read anywhere in that post that you said you cant spell. to quote you " dont do anything in any of my classes but auto shop that is it lol" maybe you should do something in english.

also if you read the engine swap sticky it gives plenty of information about each motor that is avaible to swap in at relative ease. as far as a roll cage it isnt necessary in alot of things until you start going so fast or are in a certain class. as far as racing on the street- dumb idea but i wouldnt put a roll cage in it for it. racing tires are just that for racing on tracks, they will get torn up on the street or provide little traction in wet weather which isnt good. racing brake pads need warmed up before they are at their full potential so i would not get a race strict pad, but get a decent gripping one that can still handle street driving with blank rotors. slotted and drilled are worthless. racing seat is nice but might as well go with a harness, harness bar. but thats a lot of money and again for the street is totally unnecessary, not to mention a harness does expire. and the seat with a stock seatbelt will not keep you any safer than a regular seat. body kits are heavy, so if you want to go fast i do not see why you would put one on. take out the dash if you want to lose weight along with all of the interior.

couple ideas: get the body stich welded. focus on suspension for launching and turning.

so..... you can race up to the speed limit????? nope can't do that.

rifleman seriously i am not trying to be a jack ass, but think about what you are doing before you get yourself hurt. i know its only a little 240, but shit happens. to be honest most people here have most likely done a little street racing but they have since figured out the results of their actions even if it only means loosing your lic. for a few months.
