Nismo mounts

So i was puting in my new sr20 motor in today with nismo motor mounts. I'm not sure how many of you have dealt with these before but I installed the mounts and put the motor in and have not tried to put my hood on yet. I was wondering if any one has had a problem installing their hood after using the nismo mounts, cuz just from looking at how my motor is sitting it seems a little higher and im not sure if the hood will fit.

Yes it will, it sits higher due to the fact there new and your old ones were worn...

did you put the mounts in the right way around?

I've done two swaps using the nismo mounts and although it does look as though the hood might hit the engine, in both swaps it didn't.

just make sure that if u have that black heat crap on the inside of your hood it doesn't hit the valve cover cause it'll rub the paint off
