there's a metal/copper crush washer that goes on the drain plug. Just pick a few up from the dealership. I don't know the exact price (under $1). The parts dept. was nice and gave me a few for free.

 

Always use a washer if it had one before.

i didn't know if the metal washer/gasket was from the drain plug or not cause the drain plug fell so after the oil finish draining, i looked and there was a metal ring and the ring seemed broken. so i decided not to use it.
