fuse...?

 

where is the fuse for the door locks, what is it called? i havent been able to find one thats for the doors

 

Just check all the fuses if ones blown replace it and see if that works.

 

does anybody know if there is a part of the factory harness separate from the door lock harness's that goes in to the main harness? I swapped rb20 and there is a small white harness maybe "5 or 4 pin" up behind the ecu that isnt plugged in because the rb harness is different

 

also where do i find a FSM for the s13

 

My passenger door is fucked, i have to unlock it from the inside, the key wont even turn once its in the hole, you have to hold the handle up on the outside and lock it and hold the handle until the doors closed and let go and its locked. And my drivers door, you need to lock it from the outside. Its all screwed. Anyone know why?

this is a very common problem on the s13. the two 240s i own does not do this though. maybe you should take off your door panel and check out all the linkages and stuff.

 

ok the "door lock timer" relay under the dash has no power, problem number one, if any body has this door lock timer relay under there dash behind the ecu could you test the harness with a voltmeter with the car off to see if there are suppose to be any voltages coming through

well i took out the lock cylinders "lubed" them up, checked the harness found the problem. now i gots power door locks baby. if anybody has any issues i pretty much know the power door lock system like the back of my hand now

 

wat was the problem? ya someone probaly did try a flat head to the lock.

 

i guessed he lubed it up. now someone can probably use a flat head to acctually open the door ^^
