I Want to know if any one knows of a way to prevent the dam doors from closing so hard, it is causing my window to go off track and is giving me issues. Any Ideas of what to do about this???

It's probably because the door is out of adjustment. Over time the hinge pins wear and allow the door to drop at the rear, which means the door hits the door striker at the rear low, making it hard to shut. Just re-adjusting the door can help, or if it's a severe case you might have to get new hinge pins or hinges.

yea, my hatch was pretty bad too. Did the same thing, adjust the doors until your bead lines up at the front where the fender is, then in the rear towards the quarter panel. You can take your striker off (the inside wall of the door jam, NOT on the door) To make it easy to open/close. Then put your striker on, and adjust it where you need it to be.

I found out my striker was pulled out, so my door would never shut tight enough to close the window gap, once I pulled it in, it was fine.

It's usually a good idea to have a friend help with it though. otherwise you could just end up making the problem worse.
