Really, I'm not too concerned about his english. Besides the fact it's annoying as hell, that's not really the issue.

The issue is that everytime they post, they don't clear things up at all, it's just another "beat around the bush" post.

The annoyance of his bad english is just magnified by his constant maneuvering.

You know what, if I owned a business, and wanted to prove it, I could probably do so in a series of 2-3 pictures. Thats all I would need. But somehow Racinghard has provided 10+ pictures of either cars or motors, but everyone is still confused.. hmmmmm.. why is that?? Becase his pictures have no context. They're meant to be ambiguous and try and convince the stupid ( yes, this is some of you ).

Well I noticed you changed it anyway. Please learn a little bit about motors before you talk about them. And I don't mean learn the difference between an SR and a KA. There is no such thing as a truck motor.

And to your new sig: If you really want to argue about price, then find me a $500 240 that doesn't need $1000 worth of work just to get that $2000 motor in there. Now, a $2500 240, plus $1000 for the work you would have done on the $500 240, and you spank the SR....hmm.

I dont think that makes you a bad person but by the same token do you consider the 350Z less of a performer. If I recall that motor was in the Pathfinder Frontier and Xterra if I am correct. Not 100% on the xterra or Frontier. So that would make the 350z, which BTW is a sports car, truck/suv motor equipped

there are so many trucks that would blow the doors off alot of cars you see on the road today. many using the motor they came with. did u not see the horsepower tv episode with a 1000 hp diesel dodge ram with the magnum v8 (i know it was a diesel, not sure if it was a magnum).

anyways. what im trying to say is, i dont care if its a motorized tricycle. if it makes more power than whatever else is in its class, or even far beyond its class, then its in a class all by itself. a very good class at that.

First off, lets get something straight. I AM as newb as they come. I've spent the last 3 years involved in the german tuning scene ( vw's), and just recently took the dive into Nissan tuning.

Bought my 240 3 months ago, and my sr20det is going in as we speak.

Initially I thought it was an RB because I really didn't go through the entire post. And I thought the chances of Racinghard having one of the most powerful street silvias in the world was very unlikely. On that, I assumed the motor was an RB. That is my fault, I should have known better, I've been working on an SR for the last week, you'd think I know what one looks like.

And why don't you open your eyes. There is only ONE reason why Racinghard and anyone affiliated with them is posting on these boards, and that's TO MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY. Yes, believe it or not, they're actually trying to create SAALLLEEESS. So don't try and accuse me of perpetuating all of this, it's all on racinghard and our articulate friend yeongart.

Personally, I don't even know why they're allowed to post as a business if they're not a paying advertiser.

And they most likely will never become a paying advertiser. I doubt 240sxforums.com would want to back a motor importer from Malaysia no matter how many cool pictures with paper "racinghard" signs they post.

I can keep this up all day, and most of my arguements are actually coherent and logical. So keep on bringing up stupid points, I'll be happy to oblige.

Yes, it has potential, but then again, what motor doesn't? I've seen 13 second suzuki swifts ( aka geo metros ). And a 11 second Hyundai Elantra. Any motor can put out power. Power is not the issue with me. I'm more concerned with the overall "experience" ( if that makes any sense ). I decided to go with a motor that was initially designed and engineered for performance. Not to work on a motor that CAN be a performer.

1. noone ever said they were "fake". They're obviously dealing motors out. The argument is whether or not they are to be trusted.

2.I was the one that made the RB statement. Like I said before, I am a newb, and I didn't take the time to go through the post and the picture. I just saw the reference to "600hp", and assumed that it was very unlikely that Racinghard modified an SR to be one of the most powerful in the world. Therefore, I assumed it was an RB before taking a closer look at the motor. And it really isn't THAT clear to me, with sheets of metal covering everything up, and a ghetto paint job covering the valve cover.

Yeah yeah, I should have known better. I have the cuts and bloody knucles to prove the work that has been going into my car the past week. ( sr20det currently being isntalled ).

ok buddy, firstly, i didnt lash out. i dunno what ur talking about, if i lashed out, that post i made would have been about 3 pages long. secondly, i respect peoples opinions, BUT, only if their opinions have reasoning behind them. thats the way i am, and thats the way it is for me. this, in MY OPINION is the only real way to take anything someone says for more than a grain of salt. BECAUSE (see, opinion ---> reason) too many people rely on what they think, and not what they know. I'm not saying u dont know about the KA or anything. heck u probably know more than me. BUT, there are people who know more than you about it, and because they've had such success, there is no way in hell that i would diss the KA. even though i am pro-sr20. I wouldn't turbo a KA, simply because the SR is available (and at a low-low price for me at that). but if i were to have two 240s i would definately go 2 different ways with each.

simply because i see no point modding two cars identically, for 1 person (opinion). it would be much more fun, and a way better experience to see how both engines respond to either driving style (drift and drag).

so basically what im saying is, i dont think someone should hate, or diss the KA, especially when u own the car it came in. thats like saying "my car is so crap, i definately have to swap the engine out" , when indeed, with a little work, it is far from crap.

Well someone asked for a pic of that car that they just built with 600hp with a real sign of their's on it.. Then he sent in a pic of a random 240 with a claimed 400hp with the hood closed. Now all his schemes have worked, if in fact he isnt legit, because now everyone knows who the fuck RacingHard is.

Just FYI...SR20 is a grocery getter engine. The RB series motor was the motor engineered for performance.

But if you look at what I quoted you will see that you said you would rather have the performance engineered motor...when in fact BOTH motors were designed for the same purpose...'cept one came in a turbo option.
