and those are advan rims, ive seen em on a local R32, they look very nice
And an s14/s15 SR at that!rco8786 said:Ya that's definitely an SR.... n00bs
rco8786 said:Well I noticed you changed it anyway. Please learn a little bit about motors before you talk about them. And I don't mean learn the difference between an SR and a KA. There is no such thing as a truck motor.
And to your new sig: If you really want to argue about price, then find me a $500 240 that doesn't need $1000 worth of work just to get that $2000 motor in there. Now, a $2500 240, plus $1000 for the work you would have done on the $500 240, and you spank the SR....hmm.
he never said that those cars were his... its kinda wierd to ask a customer to come back just so he can take pictures of it with the box that had the word racinghard on it... and for wut just to make your ignorant ass happy... and whoever said that that was an rb motor should just stop posting period.Yeongart said:tomorrow will have a 180sx coming up ! okay ... these owner bought engine from us and we help them swap their engine and now we post it up for you guy !
sooo....ChildDamien said:im really trying to be cool with everyone on this board because anyone can be a source of info that i havent found out yet

if you havent opened your eyes to the power that can be achieved from a KA.
and if u havent been reading posts about ways to MAKE power with a KA.
and if you are oblivious to the fact that nissan uses many of the same engines in many different platforms. (vq35 for example, as spec_v5150 stated)
then you, my friend, are not cool with anyone, because you're just ignorant.
ignorance is something no body likes. especially me.
there are so many trucks that would blow the doors off alot of cars you see on the road today. many using the motor they came with. did u not see the horsepower tv episode with a 1000 hp diesel dodge ram with the magnum v8 (i know it was a diesel, not sure if it was a magnum).
anyways. what im trying to say is, i dont care if its a motorized tricycle. if it makes more power than whatever else is in its class, or even far beyond its class, then its in a class all by itself. a very good class at that.
First off, lets get something straight. I AM as newb as they come. I've spent the last 3 years involved in the german tuning scene ( vw's), and just recently took the dive into Nissan tuning.180sR20DETx said:he never said that those cars were his... its kinda wierd to ask a customer to come back just so he can take pictures of it with the box that had the word racinghard on it... and for wut just to make your ignorant ass happy... and whoever said that that was an rb motor should just stop posting period.

Wuss said:I gotta agree. The KA doesn't appeal to me in any way. And it's hard to say someone who hates the KA has no experience with it, because most of us are actually driving cars with KA motors in them.
Yes, it has potential, but then again, what motor doesn't? I've seen 13 second suzuki swifts ( aka geo metros ). And a 11 second Hyundai Elantra. Any motor can put out power. Power is not the issue with me. I'm more concerned with the overall "experience" ( if that makes any sense ). I decided to go with a motor that was initially designed and engineered for performance. Not to work on a motor that CAN be a performer.
ok buddy, firstly, i didnt lash out. i dunno what ur talking about, if i lashed out, that post i made would have been about 3 pages long. secondly, i respect peoples opinions, BUT, only if their opinions have reasoning behind them. thats the way i am, and thats the way it is for me. this, in MY OPINION is the only real way to take anything someone says for more than a grain of salt. BECAUSE (see, opinion ---> reason) too many people rely on what they think, and not what they know. I'm not saying u dont know about the KA or anything. heck u probably know more than me. BUT, there are people who know more than you about it, and because they've had such success, there is no way in hell that i would diss the KA. even though i am pro-sr20. I wouldn't turbo a KA, simply because the SR is available (and at a low-low price for me at that). but if i were to have two 240s i would definately go 2 different ways with each.ChildDamien said:hey man first off :smacked49 blow me
I know what the KA can do.....i just dont like it....sound cool to you... obviously not...since you wanted to try and be the smartass. im f'n sorry that i dont think the way you do, or some others do, im sorry that your mother raised you to not understand that other people have opinions too, i HAVE read about the KA and i HAVE been informed about the different plus' of the KA by our members here at 240sxforums. with the information i HAVE i CHOOSE to still not support the KA, son you are the ignorant, your the uninformed, you dont know SHIT about how to handle things you dont agree with, obviously your idea of a response is to lash out....and other do this as well....instead of offering information in a positive way....information(as i have seen) is usually stated in a negative way to try and proove someones opinion wrong in this forum. This isnt cool, why should people have to waste their time reading your stupid ass post dissing someone whose opinion you dont agree with...and like i said before this isnt just for one person...this asshole just set me off.....and I am a victim of my own rant because in reality this post is just another waste of space, but something needed to be said....whats that saying dont speak unless you have something nice to say? in this case lets amend that by saying dont speak unless you have something informative to say, myself included......I will admit that I was ignorant to some of the facts about the KA, but that doesnt make me an ignorant human being...so to all the haters :thumbsup remember you aint worth a shit, just like i aint worth a shit dont assume that just because im into the SR20det that I'm some lame ass ex-honda driver who doesnt know that car culture from my asshole....ive been into scene for a minute, i fell in love with the 240..i bought it caused it intrigued me, dont ruin mine....and possibly others experience with the car because someone feels like being a dick...peace out suckahs this is the last time im going to give any asshole half a thought or half a minute
Well someone asked for a pic of that car that they just built with 600hp with a real sign of their's on it.. Then he sent in a pic of a random 240 with a claimed 400hp with the hood closed. Now all his schemes have worked, if in fact he isnt legit, because now everyone knows who the fuck RacingHard is.180sR20DETx said:all i really want to know is wut makes u guys think that they are fake... i guess i must have missed something because i dont really seen your reason for this... and with wut i said earlier about "whoever said it was an rb motor should just stop posting period" i admit that was harsh but it was just so clear that it was an sr20...
Just FYI...SR20 is a grocery getter engine. The RB series motor was the motor engineered for performance.Wuss said:I gotta agree. The KA doesn't appeal to me in any way. I wouldn't have even cared if you said "I don't like KAs" there is nothing wrong with that. I really wish I had copied your sig b/c you were bashing the KA...not just saying you prefer a different motor.ChildDamien said:yo....word up...finally someone not bashing my head in , but yeah thats all im trying to say....and to sum my other speech... i respect the guys putting out numbers in their KA's thats the shit right there....im just a speed junkie, so if you got 350whp...on anything thats light enough to move...im down
if the sr20det is a grocery getter engine, what's that make the KA ?rco8786 said:Just FYI...SR20 is a grocery getter engine. The RB series motor was the motor engineered for performance.
I never said anything about the KA..it's a grocery getter too.Wuss said:if the sr20det is a grocery getter engine, what's that make the KA ?![]()
