For the 5 min it takes to check it is Timor worth the piece of mind? He was running within filter and the issue started just after that... I agree that email tunes are a wast of time and money, especially if you are changing your set up, I'm mot sure why they are so popular.. But it's the way he wants to go.

The turbo is spinning at anywhere from 50-150k rpm. ANY issues, and you'd hear it. At MOST, there'd be a bent fin, without completely destroying the turbo and potentially the motor. As someone that's destroyed every blade on a compressor....you'd know. It wouldn't cause skipping issues.

i thought that fuel pump could only push a max of 85psi because of a pressure relief valve...if that is the case then I don't see how you could read 90psi or above when testing fuel pressure.

however if your readings are accurate then either your fpr is adjusted way to high, its broke, or you've had a huge increase in manifold pressure ( boosting to high), or clogged or kinked return line from fpr

UPDATE: I installed my fpr and the pressure said about 75. My car had never started up so fast and idled so nicely though. But I turned it down, when i go all the way around 43 the car would bog and shut off, so I had to set it right around 50. it didn't fix it so I tryed some different gaps in spark plugs, didn't get anywhere except to a better gap. I thought I would add that ever since I bought the car there has been a smell of gas that is stronger when boosting. it makes me scared it's my injectors :-( but I was told it was just a fuel pump spacer/o-ring that needed replacing when I bought it.

I assume you haven't replaced what he told you to, the oring he is referring to will expand or crack over time and you will lose fuel...so as your motor demands more the excess fuel coming out of that oring may be what your lacking at that rpm range...

If im not mistaken there is no spacer for that pump because spacers are used for mechanical fuel pumps mounted to the motor to increase or decrease fuel pressure as seen fit.
