Hello Everyone,

My name is Rob Adair and I love 240's.
I own a 1990 240sx and a 1989 240sx.

I have lot's of questions and maybe a few good answers to common 240sx knowledge.

I have owned my cars for about one week so if anyone could help me out with the building of my engines it would be awesome. Both engines are KA24DE's and I have a spare setting on a pallet in my garage.

Planning on the infamous SR Swap into one of them and a drag build of the other.
Hit me up later on if you get the chance. I live in Locust Grove, Oklahoma

I am the owner of a local car club: Club Ace
here is the website: http://www.clubacespace.com

Check it out and tell me what you think! I will be updating it very often... :ihit

Hey everyone, my name is ashton, im from yorktown va, and i currently own an 02 rsx type s

My friend asked me today if i wanted to buy his 95 240, he said it has a ka24det motor, idk what that means just yet cause i just started reading the forums

I would apreciate any insight on if this is a good version, the car has 133K and it is an auto.

Thanks in advance to anyone who helps me

New Here

Hey, what's up everyone. New to the site, but not new to 240's. I'm originally from Kauai, Hi. So fortunately for me, I got into it back in the mid 90's and have a nice mountain pass to learn on. Currently living in Las Vegas and hoping to be on the scene soon. Nice to meet you all. Matt

you need to know your goals for the car and what turbo and supporting mods are on the car. If its auto it might be really good for dragracing if the tranny is setup properly for it. If its a stock tranny it might be a little weak. Are you willing to swap a 5 speed in? Or would you want to keep it auto?

Hey all names Rick, Joined this forum to pick the brains of talented Nissan owners about a few things Nissan. Might even make a few new friends along the way. I am from Tampa, Fl, but i am stationed in TN.(Campbell) I own a 1990 Talon Tsi, 1988 CRX Si(B16), 2002 Accord EX(Wifemobile), 1996 Nissan Truck(GixxerHauler). I am in Iraq right now and am about 7 months in and 7 months from coming back home. My future might have a 240 in it so I figure I would join a forum so I would not be lost on any subjects. Do have a quick question though...besides gearing...is the tranny in a KA240 the same as the tranny in my 96 Nissan...? Just figured I would ask because I was home for R&R and the truck tranny exploded. There is a 240 shop in tampa that does SR swaps and has old 240 tranny's just sittin there for cheap..THANKS ALL(Yes i did search)

Hellooooo forums....names ed from san diego PQ area, lived here all my life...and still am. Anyways I just got a 94 240sx thats needs alot of TLC..Just trying to find a good forum to live one for information when the time(s) come. I currently work at a shop called SPEEDFORCERACING. We do all kinds of crazy stuff.....but enough with the plugs....Im in the process of ressurecting this car, so far it runs (very well might i add), Ive been through an ordeal to getting this car on the road again, from paying $450+ on reg. fees, to buying some tires cause the car sat in pretty much one spot for 5+ years...Whew...Long story short...Hello everybody on this forum....one last thing...my place of work has a website as well.....www.speedforceracing.com

Hey people, my name is Jesse and I live in Oregon. I've got a 2000 neon that I use as a daily driver, but I really want a FR car.
I'm trying to get a hold of a 1995 or later 240sx and just wanted to do some more research before I started my project.

Hey guys, I just picked up a 93 s13 convertible, and have big plans for that baby.

First: finish all of the body work ironing out all of the dings and dents from the accident the previous owner got in with it.
Next: 5 speed swap, most likely at the same time as installing RB25

Hey everyone. The name is Darryl and I'm a import junkie. I've owned a 1st gen RX7, a Suzuki Swift, a 93 Mazda MX3 and a 99 Honda Accord. I'll be picking up a 96 240sx SE tonight and thought I'd look into some of the 240 forums. This one looks like the best by far.

Currently on Guam so I guess I'm close enough to Japan to get the good stuff.

Let's see I doubt anyone will read this, but just to say I did it. Here it goes.

My name is Danni. I'm 23 years old. My loves fall like this. My son, my work, my car, video games, then everything else. I'm a pro at two things. 1) Being a mom 2) Computer networking. lol. I live in Hawaii and loving almost everything about cars. My daily driver is 01 VW Jetta, but my baby is a 91 240sx fastback. My car before that was a 85 Toyota Corolla, hachi. So that is me.

Ok since it's so much fun to be on a 102 page thread!

Name: Damon
Location: Layton, UT

I love cars and computers. Currently looking for a s13 project car. I am getting a job in a couple months starting to install car stereos(as soon as it starts picking up). I am 17. Love BMW e30's. Have one right now for sale to fund the s13 project!

Hi everyone, my name is Darryl, I'm 23, and i "accidentally" fell in love with 240's after buying mine. I was in the market for a new car and saw a Black 91 240sx hatchback on the side of the road for sale. After looking at the car from the inside and out, I had to have that car. The only problem was that the car was a 5 speed, and did not know how to drive it.
After settling on a price of $2000, not bad considering it only had 91000 miles on it, my dad drove it home and told me he'd teach me how to drive it. I learned in 14 minutes. :)
After having my car for 3 years now, i dont think ill ever find a car i love to drive more. Ive had a few fender benders (surprise snow in new england in march will do that) but i plan to fix the body after i work on my suspension. Otherwise, my car is stock with no mods at all yet.
When i get it back on the road in late march/april, ill post some pics. Hopefully with all the projects i plan to do on it in the near future, i can ask all you on the forums for advice/tips.
Nice meeting you all!

hey im jeremy..i dont have a 240 yet but i plan on buying one in the summer on a count im in school right now..but i thought i would learn as much about the car before i got it and what better place to do that than a forum..im looking to buy a 91+ 240 and than save up for an sr swap and turbo upgrade maybe and some susension work...depending on the cash flow..this seems like a pretty pimp forum and im looking forward to learning as much as i can..

Greetings from the great white north, my name's Joe and I just bought my 240 coupe last week for 1500$. It is however still sitting at the guys house, not because she doesn't run but I'd rather not put it through any snow/salt. She's a gray 89 with a 5 speed. Through my research, I've decided to go KA-T rather than SR. :D
Pics/mods to follow...
