I am trying to identify the turbo that is on my rb20. The previous owner says that the turbo is a T28, but I cannot find a T28 that has "Nissan Motors" marked on the compressor housing. The only turbos that I can find that have Nissan Motors marked on them is the OEM T25 from the RB20DET and the T3 from the VG30DET. The turbo appears too small to be a T3. The nearest appearing T28 that I can find is from the rb25det, but from what I have found it has only "Nissan" marked on the compressor.
Any help would be appreciated. I want to start cranking up the boost, but am very weary about uping the boost over 12psi until I can identify the turbo. As well as the turbine blade material.
