ok so i've been looking around at the vh45de swap. very impressive numbers for very cheap. my question is has anybody successfully swapped a vk45de in an S-chassis with a manual trans? i've seen people discuss but the most i've ever found was all vh45de swap (which i'm def interested in doing). reason i'm asking is bc with the vk starting with higher hp can be a good platform to start with esp with it being newer. and plz no money issue arguments about "how much it costs" or "its not worth the swap" bs either. jus focus on the question. thanx yall!

I haven't personally seen the VK in a 240sx but i think it would be a good platform to start with. I know that the VK uses solid bucket lifters like the VQ, so theyre not maintenance free like the VH's are. The VH's HLA's are solid, so theyre not a weak link like they may be in a SR. (info custesy of elwesso, from nicoclub)

I just picked up this motor for my S14 its a VH45DE. The plan is to do a VH45DETT build.
