i thing im going with megan full race coilovers because this is the way i see it with springs u gotta pay 250 plus 100 for cheap camber kit and 100 for alignment so that 450 for 150 more u can have the best of te best coilover ftw

No matter how you lower car, whether it's with springs or coilovers, it will upset your alignment settings. How bad will just depend on how low. It would be to your benefit to purchase aftermarket arms if you want to go really low.

cuz it's your life thats riding around in that car, cheap untrustworthy parts don't cut it in my book. I drive hard on the race track though and I really don't want t come onto a straight where I know I'm going to hit 160 kph or come into a hairpin corner and have to wonder if my shit is going to hold together or not.

basically what I'm saying is if you can't afford to do it properly then wait and save till you can do it right

no what im saying why drop 2-3k on suspension when you can buy godspeeds for 500. its a 240. not like its something new. unless you have a brand new 240lol

ignore future's posts. he is new to 240's and doesnt understand the difference between quality parts and cheap POS parts.

dont let people's opinions get to you. chill out.

I think I hit a nerve and now he's (Soon) taking out on everybody else, sorry :).

Some people will steer you clear of "Chinese made bullshit" without actually having the experience with the product. I have heard (no first hand experience, however), when Godspeed type coilovers came out, people had problems with the struts snapping on their "Chinese made bullshit." However, this was several years ago, and since then, I haven't heard of much of a problem. I, even though these problems seemed to have been corrected, will only put parts that most people consider "quality" on my suspension. The things I have heard are enough to sway my decision, but like I said, I personally have never had experience with "Chinese" brands, so it's really only heresay.

As far as an alignment, like most other people said, you shouldn't have much of a problem with a slight drop. You will start having problems with a huge drop.

Personally, I don't know what would technically be too low. I think, if you can see that you have an ungodly amount of camber or routinely wear out only the inner part of the tire, then it would be a good time. That's how I determined if I was going to replace the RUCAs on my car.
