Base doesnt have none of that stuff. Some of it you can get on a base like locks, sunroof, cruise, abs, cd player but you would have had to pay more and if people got a base they most likely didnt.

The things standard on a SE will always be the 5 lug, front lip, white faced gauges, 16" alloy wheels, rear sway bar, foglights, cruise, and... premium sound system.

Leather, ABS/LSD, CD player, Sunroof, rear spoiler, i might be missing some things, but those were options for the SE.

The base model will always be lighter since it has the 4 lug hubs, no rear sway, and the rest of the little options that might be on most SE's.

Are you shitting me, that was an OPTION? Thats why my damn thing doesnt work...I thought the damn thing was broken.... God, I hate non-intermitten wipers....argh. Anyone know how to fix this (bullshit) problem? :crazyrant

Your better off getting that car...since the only biggie your missing are 5 lug hubs. But if your patient you can source some out.

Skinny i believe all SE's have 5 lugs... so either someone swaped them out on your... and you got jipped. Or you have the base model.

they are OPTIONS, OPTIONS, OPTIONS, from the factory.

You don't have a SE...you just have alot of the options.

Carfax always refers to any 240sx as "NISSAN 240SX/LE/SE"
By the way, the Canadian SE had a 4 lug if i remember correctly. The white face gauge should be the first thing that indicates whether your car is a base or a SE/LE. And the USDM kouki never came with the front lip for some reason.

VLSD was a common package with ABS but it was possible to order a s14 se w/o abs and w/ a vlsd so check your differential casing, there should be a red mark on it to indicate its a vlsd. btw fordtech se models were not that much heavier than base models, maybe 60lbs at most if they had a sunroof equipped.

Yea Um I Plan On Buyin a s14 before "MAY" but i wanna find the right one.

erm... if it is an aftermarket lsd its a clutch type. If it is a vlsd it is oem (from either a s14, z32 tt (300zx twin turbo), or Infiniti J30 are most commonly found).

Only helical I've heard of being used is the s15 helical lsd.

As far as gear type lsd's those are most common on euro's such as porsches and m series bmws
