hello guys/gals(if any) anyways i was looking for a good exhaust for the ca18det

so far i have look at

apexi n1 single & duals(dont know if they have a size different for turbo and non turbo) and the hks hi power for the hks there is 2 different sizes for the hks

pipe diameter-80mm
tip diameter-120mm

and the other is

pipe diameter-65mm
tip diameter-115mm

and i was wondering if there is any different between the apexi single or duals and the hks size(one is for turbo and the other for non) and does it effect anything like if use the n/a exhaust on the ca there all are 3" piping also

wrote this at 5 am and haven't went to sleep yet so sorry if it sounds weird i will give more info when i wake up haha

There is no real good exhaust for any specific engine even though others may disagree. Just go with something in your budget and something that you will like. Just try and stay under 3 inch unless your really trying to push some High horsepower.

I just got into the ca and mine has a megan 3" turbo back with the long tip muffler. Mine is running in limp mode curretnly and it is RIDICULOUSLY loud!!!! Just putting my two cents in...... Let me know what you go with and how it sounds tho!

im rocking 3 inch turbo back into a cx racing exhaust, was under140 bucks shipped and sounded amazing! idle was like sex, but not too loud, and opening it up was the best kind of loud, though the built in resonator keeps it from being too loud or scratchy, very deep gorgeous rumble! iv got a ca with bolt ons and fuel system, currently being rebuilt...
only complaint about cx racing is it hung a little low, only because of my stock hangers, lack of tranny exhaust bracket, and tow hook in the way (also dinged canister, suggest removing) also when tow f*cker unloaded it onto a hill he jammed it against the ground and bent it shut on the midpipe, car was pretty low but raised for winter tires (in vt) seemed durable enough otherwise but that tow guy really did a number
