91-94 in the US, and almost all years in Japan

 

how much did that HICAS option cost at retail anybody know?

 

I believe it was a package option for $1200 dollars. Included ABS/HICAS/VLSD

 

Do the 94+ 240sx have a stock LSD available??? i know they don't have the super hicas but how bout the LSD i'm just curious....

 

I believe the SE models with ABS all had the VLSD..Not sure if the VLSD was available on its own. I know you can't get ABS with out the VLSD...Ahh i just woke up i am confused at this time of the day...

S13's dont ahve VLSD unless you have HICAS...do you have HICAS?

Driven an S13 w/ hicas... very weird feeling when sideways (done in empty parking lot). I've also heard bad things about hicas equipped cars and SR swaps, dont know what the exact problem with that is though...

Once again like i said in my first response, It takes a little while to get used to, once you do, you won't even realize is there..I guess the Engineers at Nissan are so dumb they put it in the car, and still put it in the R34..

Once again someone repeats hearsay...Like i said, the system is Electronically controlled, is not always active, so if the car is going in a straight line is off..So for drag racing it will not be an issue..The reason alot of road racers eliminate it is because they like to be in controll of what the car does at all times, the Hicas is there to assist you, some racers dont like being assisted.. I have owned my Hicas for over a year now and never ever had any problems and would gladly challenge anyone in any curvy road anyday. Or i will gladly take you for a ride to show you the advantages of having it.

how can u have a LE/SE ???? you either have one or nothing at all.... i have a LE (with fake leather) w/o abs,super hicas, and vlsd..... anyways hey neo i'm not sure if i'm gonna get the '91 SE from my couz bf but i was wondering wut the benefits of super hicas have? and if u have a super hicas on ur car does that mean for sure u have a vlsd????
