it is the Gide/tensioner that is not keeping the Chane tight. And it is not missing it is flooding the cylinder with gas or leaking oil down in to the cylinder from a bad valve seal. you are getting spark to the cylinder. what happened when you switched the injector harness to # to cylinder.

Just outta a old Buick I found in the junkyard lol I was saving for a vortech the low boost I had on it bent the valve on it It was my first rom so it was pretty shitty tune job also like a dumb ass I thought it was done so I sold it for 500$ I had alot of work in it though You have to fabricate a tube also to fit that wide mouth intake

WTF? A supercharger off of an old Buick? Which one?!

Smelt alot of gas but it burned it off fine
Bingo, we have a winner!

i don't think that smoke coming out is gas.

It was off a regal 60$ special It looked like a 95 or something but it was smashed to pieces so I cant be exact on the year it had a nice 3.8l v6 in it shoulda took the whole engine for 300$ lol the supercharger was a mistake cause I was a noob at tuning and I bent the valve

I pulled all plugs and they all gave spark! it cant be spark unless its a really weak spark

Dude I wish I had a picture to show you its awesome I sold it to my buddy Ill get you a picture of the engine it was a thing to just try out lol I was planning on a vortech later and really getting some pounds in there it was a small charger but defiantly noticeable in power and the best part was I didn't have to mess with fuel system cause the charger was small enough for the stock fuel system to handle it idk much about the ls1's never owned one but you could probably try this out just don't be a noob a tuning lol

If your willing to give up your A/C its easy L98's ac's are right by the intake so its perfect then just get a double belt crank pully and you got a supercharged ls1 im sure they got a thread on this

No superchargers for me, I've got this setup sitting in my dining room waiting to go on my WS.6.

The gas coming out the exhaust is colored black but I think its just cause of the cat being old and dirty
That would be my guess. It's carbon and gas.

im lazy & didnt want to read all four pages. but i had a similar problem, but with my #1 cylinder. & what ended up being the problem was the injector coil wasnt fully firing & the comp. retarded the spark output on that cylinder to compensate. when i would pull the plug boot off there would b no change in idle. i dicked around w/it all weekend & then my friend asked me "did you reset the computer". i reset the computer & it ran like a champ after that. the #1 cylinder was getting full spark now & responding to me pulling the plug wire off. just my 2 cents

i was talking about your s13 not the silverado. just disconnect the battery ground wire for 15 minutes. all leaned memory from the ECU will be erased & will set all of your fuel/spark maps back to stock. you have the same symptoms mine had but on a diff cylinder. the injector did turn out to be bad, but after i replaced it with a brand new injector it still ran like shit. after i reset the ECU it was purrin like a kittin.
