there is a new set of books out by Haynes just for Sport Compacts/imports. There are three in the set: the first one is over basic customization, performance (i.e. cold air intakes stuff like that), and general things.

The second is on Forced induction and heavier modifications.

The third book is on car audio.

they are priced at 35 each, and are available through their website or in the jcwhitney sport compact catalogue.

Look up Corky Bell's (i think that's his name) books. He has some GREAT information on turbo chargers. It is pretty much a standard read if you are into that sort of thing.

there is couple chilton's for sale at overstock.com it should be pretty cheap cuz i got my chilton's manual for 17dollars

I got that Corky Bell turbocharging book from amazon.com. I was lucky enough to find one used for $15. Looked brand new to me. I've read the first chapter or so and it's some pretty good stuff. I'd recommend it.

 

the most prized book would probably be the FSM
