I started a thread about them one time before. Try searching for it. We put what lil info we knew up in it. Later man.

the only thing about flashoptions is that they cut the wiring harness as it exits the car. kind of a pain to have to re-wire everything when it only take 10 mins to take the time to pull the wires through the firewall and take out the ECU.

Are all of flashoption's ECUs clipped? Because some of them say they are not clipped. J/W If that is a scam or what not. Appreciate it.

do they cut the harnesses on everyone or do they do that when you only buy the engine itself because i plan on taking advantage of their christmas deal but sure dont feel like dealing with a cut harness even though my dad is a nissan tech.

You can go to the nico forums and search "flash options". Everyone bashes him over there, but he is a new business and trying to get started. I'd give the guy a chance as some businesses over here in the US do sell clips that are from flash options (i forgot which company--i'll edit if i ever do remember). Also, only the motorsets are cut harness. The motorset is for people with blown motors, need tons of replacement parts, or whatever EXCEPT the harness. He will also strike a deal to sell you only major parts like a tranny, ecu, head, or engine block. The front clips he sells are uncut. Before shipping, they would strip the clip down dry and stuff EVERYTHING in a big box, and toss the chassis/frame to minimize shipping costs. The reason for everyone at NICO bashing him is because he is stationed in malaysia, and they think he will scam them to living hell. A lot of NICO newbs are "paranoid". Personally I'd think you have a better chance of doing business with him then those ebay scam artists. He however said that he is registered with the real businesses and said we can call the US Embassy over in Malaysia and do a check on flash options.

Yeah im still thinging about useing flashoptions to get my clip. I dont know on there web site there is nothing about mileage on the clips and or shiping costs it just sounds kinda fishy I tried to send in a request so they would contact me and all I got was a returned email messages. Anyway if anybody knows anything please tell me cause this $1600 sounds too good to be true.

I have been sending them e-mails the past couple days and they have been real good about gettin back with me pretty quick. I also found out to ship to florida which is where i am it cost $330 if that helps anyone. I'm still waiting on a reply to my e-mail about miles so when i get that i will let yall know.

I need a front clip also and I emailed flash options and this is exactly their response to the Christmas $1600 deal.

Hi, the average miles on all sr20det are below 30,000miles.
We will do our best we want to prove 240sxforums that flashoptions.com offer not only afordable prices but quality prices too.
We give you a start-up warranty for our motors. We will give you uncut wire harness ,ecu , motor, tranny everything provided

Hope this helps some of those who also need a low price clip.

Ok since they sound like their serious.....

WHO WANTS TO BE A TEST MULE??

Someone on this forum must be tempted to buy a clip from them. I know I won't consider them until I see someone buy a clip from them. A good example is when NEO bought the front clip from Jarco Inc. After seeing the clip and he's feedback on the engine installed....he got my attention toward them. However I found a better deal on front clips. ;)

I am going to buy from them next week. I sold my Snowmachine for the money and the loan for the guy that bought it wont close till the 3rd of January. I will keep you all in the loop. Everytime I emailed these guys it was almost always instant return on my msg. I know one of there distributors in Canida personally and I trust them.

I was reading your forums for information and i saw that you guys are talking about osaka...

I don't live far away from osaka, they have a lot of engine but most of them are in very bad shape, they have a few good one, but if you order from the states without looking at the engine first im pretty sure they wont send your their best, last time i look for my sr20det, the most complete sr20 with harness had a dead t25, and two broken injector, here in montreal we have very few good experience with them when were talking about nissan, for honda engines we never had a problems...

i wouldnt suggest you buy other then honda from them, but its really up to you... my friend actually went to buy his from heavy throttle, he got one without any problems.

anyway we got bad experience with them, right here in montreal they have a rather bad reputation...
