Well for a deal like that I would take it...
Lol i appreciate the offer, but im going to stick to the new one.

Nothing against you steve, but regardless, its still an old pump, and it could fail at any time. I'd rather not take the risk.

Lol, good luck.

On thursday i am going to order the following (ups/fedex/USPS guys are gonna hate me)

- HFFS Fuel pump (dead pumps ftl)
- Reverse Light Switch (backing up and almost getting sideswiped FTL)
- Oil Pan Gasket (Oil leaks FTL)
- Washer fluid pump (water bottle out the window ftl)
- O2 Spacer for rear o2 (CEL after 5 miles FTL)
- 3qt AMSOIL transmission Fluid (High RPM grinds on crap fluid FTL)
- 3 new 2.5" exhaust gaskets (leaks and losing power FTL)
- Timkin front main seal (MOAR oil leaks ftl)

and if i have any more, i might throw in CS hangar bushings...we'll see.

Parts Ordered. Green text is a part im getting from my bud.

Fuckin tdbank decided to revamp their systems, so my paycheck didnt come through till 10am today. damnit! (it usually comes in 3-4am on thursday)

was bored today..Did the Homedepot lip, and it came out pretty good. Covered the cracked parts of the lip.

In my boredom (and waiting for the parts to come in next week) i decided to take out the stock airbox and used Simple Green to clean it up. Came out pretty good. I also put the stock intake pieces back. seems more efficient than the open box i had before (the part that pulls from the front bumper and the y piece that connects to the fender liner)

Also grabbed some belts at zutozone.. gonna install it over the weekend

Hey Jon can you measure how Tall the SE lip is for me...

Sorry i havent gotten a chance to do it, but a good guess is that it is about 3-3.5 fingers tall.

Attempted the belts last night. Nissan > me and friend. Going to attack it again wednesday and this time im removing mad shit, including the undertray piece, intake piping, fan shorud. The bels on there now probably would fail ASAP, they are dried, cracking, and the alt belt is getting patchy :O Good thing i bought them.

Trans oil came in yesterday. Remaining parts should be here Wed/Thursday. Friday is going to be a busy day!

lol, taking off the Undercover isn't going to help all the Tension bolts are up to, the only thing you need to remove is the intake pipe, Shroud out makes it easy but not necessary...

what about the tension bolt at the bottom of the ps pump? or is that the idler pulley?

How would you do it?

wait wait are u trying to change your belts? is this what is being discussed?

And y the fuck have i never found an oil pan gasket in my car? FSM says use RTV?????

Well im looking at a Pan gasket right now from fel-pro. /shrug

and yes im asking about the belt replacement. i think i found the tension bolt for the a/c belt. i crawled under the side of the (drivers side) car and could see it pointing straight at me. nd another bolt was perpendicular to this bigger bolt. i guess one is the tension bolt and the other is the adjustment bolt?

Didnt have time to do it today (plus a friend from work WAS SUPPOSED to come by but never showed up or called or anything. Whatever.)

So all i have to do is loosen these bolts and slide the belts off? i read some tutorials that say i have to move the alt/ps pump a little? Also, what a good place to jack the car up from? i dont have a low pro jack, and was told i can jack it from the rad core support?
