Subframe bushings require a Sawzaw, And fire. If you want a car with character. Get solid aluminum subframe bushings and solid aluminum diff bushings. Vibration will be increased but it wont be like ear wrenching teeth chattering vibration.

By Sawzaw....im sure my boy Phil here meant Sawzall better known as a reciprocating saw. Lol. I have a write up in the Install Forum on how to do it.

cut springs = fail on multiple levels...

but i know how it is modding car as a struggling college student and working at the same time...i did it too. a drop and rims were my dream back then, so i feel ya. especially since the government is cutting back on bright futures now and not providing that book stipend. OUCH.

I think the only reason your car started after u changed the fuel filter is because you relived the fuel pressure and emptied out the fuel rail when u pulled the lines. The engine probably was uber flooded and then u let some out so it started. Im going to say weak/out of time spark is your issue. Leave ur fuel system alone.

Remember you said when you couldn't start it the first time you smelled alot of fuel? Why are you thinking fuel system is your issue then? Unless you see a puddle of gas under your car, concentrate on the other half of the equation, spark. I didnt read every post, but i didnt see you state you changed the spark plugs...

this is painful and unorthodox, and there's probably a better way lol, but hold a screwdriver next to each spark pulg wire and have someone crank the car...if it arcs ( it needs to shock the shit outta you, you have to make sure it HURTS, or ur gettin weak spark - man up bitch) then ur getting spark. If u get full spark and you have new plugs, then id begin to tussle with the fuel system, but i doubt that's ur issue.

And to clarify, doesn't the fuel pump prime only the first time? Cuz with my walboro, it only primes on the first key turn, if i turn it off and on again, i only hear sounds from the dash and some clicks, like you heard. DONT WASTE MONEY because of failtacular troubleshooting.

When you washed ur car, did you be a big nub and wash under ur hood without covering the distributor?

As far as your plugs are concerned, take em out and light the tip with a lighter. When i flooded my cylinders (when my injector orings were shot) the plugs got temp-fouled by the gas.

If they are that new, that's all id do. But def do it to cover your bases.

As far as ur fuel pump not priming, make sure its not, pull off the carpet and have someone turn the key with u back there. stock fuel pumps aren't as loud as walboros and other cars (if they arent 240's) might be louder as well. Fuel pumps aren't cheap, 1, and they really don't go bad too often. I always make sure I know the problem before ill start throwing parts at it, and being that you are so brokesauce, you should do the same.

And good, I had faith in your anti-nub status, I just HAD to ask. Heh.

And get some GOD DAMN STARTING FLUID. IT MAKES LIKE SO EASY. If you spray that shit in your TB while somone is cranking the engine and it sputters like it wants to start, you can be 19138901273989% sure that your problem is fuel related. It's like 2.99 a can.

ROFL at mushroom clouds of FAIL. Yo, don't douse it until the engine is under vacuum (cranking) or it wont do shit. And she has to press the gas too some the butterfly is open so you can spray it. MAKE SURE THAT BITCH AINT IN GEAR.

And yes, anotha brotha in the s14 section. I'm no longer alone. TRU, now you gotta do work 99X harder, brah.
