Had another friend of mine (with a s14 : D) help me out. Was a LOT easier than i thought, once the fan shourd was off.

My friend (who also has a 240) said that we might as well replace my leaking (i got caked up dirt/oil ALLL over the back of the crank/idler pulley) Front main while we got everything off.

and FUCK USPS.. i still didnt get the pump yet. ordered it 10/2, and it said 3-5 days. its coming from cali, i REALLY hope it gets here ASAP!. Tracking is useless. It still saids "electronic info recieved" and its been a fucking week. If it is not on my fucking step by fucking monday, im gonna flip shit. i shoulda paid more for fucking Fedex. /rant
 
I dont have the $$ to drop for either, ill run the MR for a little while till i get my car sorted out then get the ISIS piece.
Isis is cheaper than megan LOL! If you cant afford isis get rid of your 240sx. ISIS, is created so poor people could afford good quality parts for their cars, at megan racing and godspeed prices.

so isis is pretty good, alrighty. ill get some of thier suspension pieces eventually.

- changed the belts, and replaced front main today. The old FM was pretty dry rotted and had seen better days. Belts are on.. the PS belt was hella tight, had to move the PS pump allllll the way to get it to fit. i guess when the belts break in i can adjust it back to where it supposed to be.

All im waiting on is my damn fuel pump. Soon as that comes in ill have a running car :thumbsup

That doesn't sound right.. My power steering pump is halfway and it has a couple more turns left before the belt is super tight...
looks like i might have mixed up the alt and p/s belt. but they are all tight and fit right, so i might just leave it. Dont feel like taking all that apart again :(

update: the belt is the right one. i guess ill have to wait till the belt loosens up some. yours might have already been broken in.

FINALLLY, you did some damn work. Good shit. Although i do belts in my sleep....almost literally...
hahah hell yeah. :thumbsup the fan pissed me and my frien off. Finally we were like fuck this shit and ripped the sonofabitch out.

Now that i know what to do, i can do it next time in MUCH less time. Wasn't as bad as i thought, once the shroud and fan was removed.

before id ever fucking touch a goddamn isis suspension arm id stick with OEM and just upgrade the bushings!!!!!

mmm choices, choices. IMO if the stock pieces are in good condtion, then ES bushings are in order. I need Diff bushings ASAP tho... i get a sexy CLUNK when i let go of the gas really quick. :crazyrant
