Is that even a question? lol std NA tuneup.

Seems like a lot of work for NA, but then again... I was a big cheap ass about my NA setup on my old car.

Actually... I forget, this thread is too old / long, what are your goals again?
intake/exhaust is minor stuff.

Goals, goals.. relistically id like ~280-300whp with a EVO9 turbo. Everyone i talk too recommends that turbo. Then later on, rebuild the motor, run some more boost and shoot for an emissions friendly pump gas burning (with meth since that level of whp is pushing straight pump on a KA) 400whp/11second 1/4.

but in the next few months leading into summer/fall, these are my goals

- Stance LX
- Powdercoat and space the SE-R wheels (ima need a 20mm at least)
- Q45 Front Brakes + SS Lines
- SPL SS Clutch Line
- ES Master Bushing set + Steering rack bushings
- Nismo Engine/Trans mounts
- RPS Sport Puck
- Fidanza Flywheel
- S13 Cam swap

Engine wise, i just want the S13 cams, maybe a little more agressive timing, and i would be content. Car isint fast, but id rather focus on the suspension and drivetrain (while saving for turbo of course) No sense going turbo, while the rest of the car is in shambles.

and the coils and bushings are my next project lol my car is 3x3 status...abt 3 fingers all around. i CAN SEE MY SPRINGS ABOVE THE WHEELS! ::cry::. i want to almost tuck in the front and rear.

You ***, you stole my Idear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111

It's cool though
And fuck Spacers, 17x7 is weak. Look at the Used JDM wheels on ebay, you can get decent wheels for fairly cheap.
Got my Kei-Office wheels shipped here for 700 (200 because of shipping)

hahah i talked with my friend and even he mentioned the EVO9 turbo. Not just you, whore. haha

17x7 is very weaksauce. Plus spacers would run me about 200-300bux.

i mean wide (17x8 or 17x9.5) in 4 lug arent too plentiful :(

what wheel companies (or OEMS) make a 4x114.3 wide wheel? i want to fill me poor fenders...

Good thing I'm not gonna use the Evo Turbo's ;)

Most all the JDM companies do because it's a common size in Jap land

Check RB Wheels or Memory Fab and see if you can find a cheaper variant on eGay

will do. but ill prolly rock these for a while. If i end up spacing them, so be it.

Im also getting some fogs soon, and noticed the pre-wiring for em under the front signals. would i be a direct PnP? or would i still need the fog light stalk from the SE?

I believe PnP, all you should need is the Relay and the Factory switch.

I noticed and taped down unused connector under the center console next to the Mirror controls, wonder what that for, have to check the FSM...

woot, keep up the work, i think. i mean, na build for the win. i almost wish i had a stock 240 so i cud enjoy modding it all over again :D
temporary N/A Build lol. s13 cams maybe a SAFC a little more timing and thats it. need turbo monies!

If your buying the SAFC Jon i'ma slap you, but IIRC you bought one for your SC but never installed it, if thats the case thats fine. Buying one, well a few more bucks get's you a Nistuned ECU...

Or a calum, or a bikirom...

But hey, some people love them some SAFC + FMU action lol.
I think all of those are OBD1. Unfortuneately. I checked on Nistune, and they dont have a obd2 solution yet.

bah.

I tried to put on the cat today, but for some reason 3 out of 4 bolt holes lined up, and the last one was EVER so slightly off, enough so that the bolt wouldnt go through. I didnt have too much time (it was before work) so im going to try again tomorrow at my friends house. He has the proper lifting equipment lol. i bet my catback is angled EVER so slightly in the wrong direction. Ill play with it and see what happens.

I forgot which one it was but they have a board for the 95 OBD-2 and the 96 ECU
If not they can provide you a jumper harness then just switch back before testing...

sounds good, ill do some research.

Seafoamed the car and installed the cat today. Found out that the test pipe was so fubared that they had to twist the exhaust to make it fit. which was why that 4th hole didnt line up quite right. I held the catback while my friend slipped on the bolt...and after i took it off of the hangars, i musclesd it around, and it swung to the left a bit...and now it sits almost flush against the bottom of the car..and tucks under the frame rails :D only thing is that the muffler is crooked now..but since im getting a Apexi, it doesnt matter. Overall its about 40% quieter.. idle is smoother, and it sounds much more refined. I still get the backfire, at almost the same volume, but its a quick POW POH POH. and not that grumble nasty sounding mess. you can barely hear teh car at idle..all you hear is a low rumble..and no bad smells! yayyyy

Seafoamed it also, nothing of note here, cept that it revealed that i have an exhaust leak in the exhaust mani somewhere..prolly teh crappy MR downpipe. Thinking of replacing that with a SR piece... Oh and whoever put on the oil filter before me CRANKED that sucker on there. Shit would not come off for nothing...

Any reviews on that HID Kit, looks cheap...
My friend has been running their kit for about a year and he has had no problems. Plus if you search DDM tuning hid kit, youll find a lot of good reviews.

LOL, its two bolts man... just take off the upper guide, and put the bolts back in their place.
Do i have to put the car @ TDC, or can i just turn my car off whenever..pop the valve cover off, unbolt them, and slap the VC back on?

i was looking @ this link:
http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread/340638 and im not doing the 2nd guide, i wanna see if the noise goes away with this one. From the way it sounds, it might only be the one @ the cams.
