Got the bung welded to my oil pan today. My phone is goofin' up today so there's no picture.
Hopefully if everything goes correcty, I can start it without having problems while it idles and possibly, I'll upload a video onto YouTube. Wish me luck guys n' gals!

Okay, so i have a new problem. When I started my car, exhaust was just blowing through the wastegate it seemed. Air wasn't being sucked through the intake either. It just seemed like air was being blown through the turbo manifold, exhaust, and wastegate. Somebody, PLEASE HELP ME!

Seems like my turbo isn't spooling.
I don't know anyone who knows about this stuff and I never have. So, I'm doing this completely alone and I'm relying on you guys on here and google...

It's hard to say what it is without looking at it personally, but...
Sounds like your wastegate actuator is keeping the wastegate opened. This would explain no spooling, why exhaust gas is only going through the wastegate, and air not being sucked into the intake. Though I'm guessing air is still being pulled through the turbo, just a very minimal amount.

I would adjust your wastegate actuator (loosen it, so turn it counter-clockwise) so the wastegate can close.
Also, I'm a little confused...
Was your car ever running? I mean, is this the first time firing it up or have you been driving it around and it has been slowly losing turbo spooling. Cause if the car was working previously, then I would say that the actuator may have not been "locked in" by the nut.

Hope this helps :/

That makes a lot of sense. I had no idea the wastegate actuator can be adjusted. That's most likely it. I'll try to adjust the wastegate actuator tomorrow morning. I haven't driven my car since last thursday. I started it for the first time today since I installed all the parts.

I think you pretty much hit the nail on the head. I haven't "unlocked" the nut of the wastegate.
Thanks, dude! I appreciate it a lot.

Yup, MOST BOVs have a bolt that allows you to adjust tha amount of pressure before venting (more or less). This is how people get that nice "flutter" with there BOVs. It does contain a locking nut, like the wastegate. It's usually behind the BOV (the bolt).

I figured. Thank again, man!
All I have to do tomorrow is; Connect my Steering Column and adjust the Wastegate and BOV. I will have to relocate my battery though. I can just use the ground wire that's on there now, but I'll need the other one to be longer or I'll buy a new relocation kit.

Do I take the "Lock Nut" off of the wastegate? I loosened it and still, exhaust gas only comes out and my spool in the turbo is spooling verrrrry slllloowwlllyy....

the car has to be under load for it to really "boost". when you can drive it and open it up, you should see your boost climb higher then you would at a stop reving. i know this frist hand becuse of my buddies rb'd 240. i did the swap for him XD!

But why isn't my wastegate closing?

I disassembled the wastegate and there's a spring, gasket, and a big washer underneath the gasket. The "nut" is at the end of the valve keeping the washer and gasket in place. I loosened it till it couldn't be loosened anymore. Is there any other parts that need to be included?

First things first, is your waste-gate internal or external?
If it's internal, your actuator will look like this:
Image

The actuator has an arm that contains threads and a nut. The flat part with the hole will be connected to the waste-gate by a cotter-pin.
-Remove the cotter-pin
-Turn the arm counter-clockwise to close the waste-gate (the arm should extend)
-After about 5 turns or so, turn the locking-nut counter-clockwise so it buts up against the arm (to prevent it from moving)
-Put arm back onto waste-gate and put the cotter-pin back on.

Notice how the arm is connected to the pin (which in turn, is connected to the waste-gate).
