I'm scared of the movie. My turbo Accord was stolen this year, and so I thought I'd get a 240 by Nissan, which wasn't on the 'top 20 most stolen cars' list... Now they make this FnF3... I'm gonna be screwed again... :[
:( Thus the reason why I have a Miata now... Just glad that my S14 had an accident before this shit hit the fan.

If this movie ends up doing what the first "Fast and the Furious" did to the youth of America, how much do you think my '93 S-13 SR20DET will be worth in July? We all could be rich pretty soon...

That is what I am thinking... Might have to figure out how much space I have in my garage/driveway and start "collecting" them for a quick turn on profit once the movie comes out.

Yo Ben, I seriously love my S-13. But if some kid is going to give me anything close to $7000 or $8000 for it....SOLD!!! Someone earlier mentioned that all we would have to do is mention that it is "drift ready". I hope this movie makes a billion dollars. I'm rich bitch!

I have only had this one for about a week and like it a lot, but I could use the money towards my "real" project car/sleeper. I hadnt even made the connection when I picked up my two-tone S13 that when the FnF movie came out that my car might actually go up in value... Guess I will see how much time/blood/sweat I have in this car once I get done fixing the damage (see my topic with the pics of my car/damage).

I was about half way through reading page two of this thread when a little light bulb appeared over my head. Right now, my car is probably worth $4000 to someone who knows what an SR20DET is. After these kids learn about 240's and see a bunch of drifting on the big screen, my baby should double in value almost overnight. I'll even bet that the kids will say the damage on your car is "drifter style". I'm rich bitch.

I knew that I would run into you sooner or later...You are the flame-master-general murphy. Many a noob has gone toe to toe with you and never returned to the forum.

I'd a agree though... that is selling out.

Plus if prices go up it affects those who have been searching like crazy for a worthy project and daily driver 240. Ppl like me... :dancingwt

Are you frickin' serious man? 6-10k for my SR20DET!!! 10k is almost half way to a nice used EVOIIIV. Do you have any links to people who shell out that kind of dough for S-13's?

links? I see them on autotrader that's how I know. And I call a few of them up after the cars are sold (I send potential cars to my email) and they tell me it went for 5.5k, 6.7k, 7k, 7.4k, 8.5k... all the way up to 10k. Depending on your modifications ofcourse.

It's bad out here for cali guys trying to find that ideal 240. Stock s13s can run from 3k-6k (dealers) easy. Stock s14s 4.5k-12k, but 5k-8k is typical.

Reading those last two posts completely blows my mind. 240's are a dime a dozen out here in Arizona. There is a 91' SR20DET with a plethora of mods in Tucson right now for $5000. That's crazy because L.A. is only like 5 or 6 hours from here.
